Welcome to ~Buckle with Care~ I’m Rachel, mum of 2 gorgeous (and cheeky) children who are the inspiration behind my writing, and the reason I created BucklePodz (safer & comfier buckle-up solutions for helmets, car seats, highchairs, wheel chairs, prams… and more).
Here, you’ll be treated with lots of food for thought, to awaken your senses and ultimately bring a brighter awareness of children’s well being into the minds of parents and caregivers.
My hope is to provide you with compelling literature which inspires emotion, provokes thought and leads to positive action, thus empowering growth for all.

~Buckle With Care~ began after the guilt of accidentally pinching my son with the buckle from his car seat, then seeing the same thing happen to my baby daughter at 6 months old. My heart ached for them, and being a qualified childcare professional I knew it happened a lot- in childcare and in other homes too. Why was this too-common safety hazard being ignored? I had to do something about it, and so, with passion in my stride, BucklePodz were created!
